An Art Exhibit - or not?

............................................................................................................................20/12/08
Hi Yael, .
How are you? I am sorry I didn't respond to your letter, I was very busy. I had to prepare my summation assignment before I got my title. However, now that I have enough time to write to you, I have to tell you about an embarrassing occurrence that has happened to me.

As you know, I like art very much. A month ago, my sister told me that my favorite artist was going to have an exhibit in France more a few days. I was shocked and immidiatly bought a ticket for the plane and ordered a room in a hotel. My flight was in the next two days I was extremely happy.

When I arrived to France, I took a taxi to the hotel and packed my stuff. I was sure the exhibit is going to be in the next three days. I decided to not spend my time and I traveled a bit in France (by the way, it is amazing, you should visit there). Well, the days passed by while I was waiting impatiencly. On Monday (the day of the exhibit) I was so glad and prepared my camera. Suddenly, I got a phone call from my sister. She said she became confused and the exhibit is in the next month. I was so angry and embarrassed. Right away I traveled back to Israel.

I think I would conclude this occurrence unnecessary but at least I enjoyed the beautiful views of France. What do you say?

Hope to see you soon,
Reut.

Hi Reut,

I read your letter and it's really embarrassing, but still funny and interesting. You should review your letter because a found a few careless grammar mistakes that can be fixed easily.
