Hi Yael, .
How are you? I am sorry I didn't respond to your letter, I was very busy. I had to prepare my summation assignment before I got my title. However, now that I have enough time to write to you, I have to tell you about an embarrassing occurrence that has happened to me.
As you know, I like art very much. A month ago, my sister told me that my favorite artist was going to have an exhibit in France more a few days. I was shocked and immidiatly bought a ticket for the plane and ordered a room in a hotel. My flight was in the next two days I was extremely happy.
When I arrived to France, I took a taxi to the hotel and packed my stuff. I was sure the exhibit is going to be in the next three days. I decided to not spend my time and I traveled a bit in France (by the way, it is amazing, you should visit there). Well, the days passed by while I was waiting impatiencly. On Monday (the day of the exhibit) I was so glad and prepared my camera. Suddenly, I got a phone call from my sister. She said she became confused and the exhibit is in the next month. I was so angry and embarrassed. Right away I traveled back to Israel.
I think I would conclude this occurrence unnecessary but at least I enjoyed the beautiful views of France. What do you say?
Hope to see you soon,
Reut.

Exhibition about time
This exhibit is about Analog clocks and Digital clocks, how do they work and what do they show.
Analog clocks
The Analog clocks usually indicate time using angles. It serves as a scale of 12 hours which can also serve as a scale of 60 minutes and 60 seconds.
Over the years, people have desinged some kinds of analog clocks that include dials divided into 6, 8, 10, and 24 hours. Another analog clock is the 24 hour analog dial, because of the use of 24 hour time in military organizations and timetables.
Another type of analog clock is the sundial, which tracks the sun continuously, registering the time by the shadow position of its gnomon. Sundials use some or part of the 24 hour analog dial. There also exist clocks which use a digital display despite having an analog mechanism—these are commonly referred to as flip clocks.

This photo is example of analog clocks.
Digital clocks
There are tew numeric digital clocks that show representation of time:
The 24-hour notation with hours ranging from 00-23 and the 12-hour notation with AM/PM indicator.
.
Most of the digital clocks are used an LCD, LED and VFD. After a reset, battery change or power failure, digital clocks without a backup battery or capacitor either start counting from 00:00, or stay at 00:00, often with blinking digits indicating that time needs to be set. Since the advertising of digital clocks in the mainstream, the use of analog clocks has dropped dramatically.

In the picture we can see digital clock outside Kanazaea station that shows the time.
To cunclude, it seems that digital clocks are more comfortable and thats why there are being used more than analog clocks.

Writing Assignment No.3
This assignment I am going to tell you about Barcelona. Last summer I went abroad to Spain with my family. We had an organized trip. Every day we were in another part of Spain and even in the border with France.
Spain is a country located in southwestern Europe in the Iberian Peninsula. In Spain there are many huge churches, parks and museums. We visited Park Guell that is located in Barcelona. In this park we could see Antonio Gaudi's works of art. There is no doubt he was a very talented man. Another beautiful place we visited was Salvador Dali Museum. In the museum there are many works of art that belong to Salvador Dali. In addition, the most amazing place we visited was Plaza de Espana. There were some giant fountains in different colors and it was very beautiful.
To conclude, I think Spain is a very beautiful place. I recommend you to go abroad to Barcelona and visit those places and more.
Very good this time.

Writing Assignment No.2
A special person in my life is my best friend Tal. I met her 3 years ago, when we were in 7th grade in Golda Meir Junior High School. We were in the same class until this year because she moved to live in Gedera. She is very smart, sensitive and supportive person but the most important thing is that she is always with me when I need her.
Tal has brown hair and brown eyes. She has a 19 year old sister that joined the army last year and a 4 year old brother. In her spare time she meets some friends, writes songs and spends some time with her family. She likes to sing and she is extremely funny also. She doesn't tell everyone about her personal life and sometimes she prefers to take out her feelings by writing poems that indicate her emotional situation.
When Tal was 3 years old she moved to Holon from Bat-Yam. When she was in 5th grade her brother Yoav was born. She is a very loyal friend and when someone annoys her friends she will always help them. Additionaly, she is always happy to give a hand to her friends when they need it or cheer them up when they are sad.
I like Tal very much and I think I was so lucky to meet her and enjoy her company. I like her family too, they are very nice people and they are like a second family to me. I am going to stay in touch with her and meet her at least twice a week this coming year.
Reut, I think your work is very good. Well done.
Daphna.

Writing Assignment No. 1
Hi, my name is Reut and I am 15 years old, I have 1 big brother and a twin. I have blond hair and green eyes. I live in Israel and I study at Kugel High School in 10th grade.
I like to ride on horses and I am a counsleor in the NoAr HaOved VeHaLomed that is a youth movement. I meet my team twice a week for at least two hours each time. I also enjoy meeting my friends. In my spare time I prepare my homework, plan some activities for my team in the youth movement and meet my friends. We usually go to each other's homes or spend some time in the mall.
I don't like school except the fact that I meet my friends there and the teachers are nice, although the secretaries are'nt. My favorite subjects are Arabic, English and Sports because they are easy.
My expectations from this coming year are to be a good student and get good grades, to be a great counselor and stay in touch with my friends. I also hope not to be too busy because it makes me feel very tired, altough I like what I do very much.
Very good!
Daphna.
